Hooray! The new super glossy and hip Portland Menu Guide was recently published and some of my photos were used! Both Argyle Winery and Zeppo restaurant are listed in the Menu Guide as one of a couple dozen top, top places to go. How fun!

I recently started using Apple’s iWork set of programs for designing brochures, flyers and other fun things. Without a doubt, iWork is awesome! It makes creating and editing marketing pieces fun!

Today I made two newsletters for Argyle announcing their new pinot noir. So nice! One looks like this:

Hey, friends and family! Only 14 days left till Codi and I get married!

Codi and I went to the Portland Rose Gardens to see if there were any roses in bloom. There weren’t even any buds on the rose bushes. Oops. Maybe by the end of May. No worries – we got to relax on the first hot, sunny day of the year.

Wowow – did I ever do a lot of flying this week! I flew from Portland to Tampa on Tuesday to visit my grandmother. On Wednesday morning, she and I flew back to the SFO bay area. About an hour after the bay area arrival, I took another flight to LA for 2 days of meetings and to visit my cousin. This morning I flew back to Portland. All in all, I covered a little over 7,200 miles in less than 4 days!
