Jason, Codi and Laura Go To The Zoo
July 30, 2005 – 11:04 pmCodi, Laura and I went to the Oregon Zoo again this weekend. Laura hadn’t been there in nearly 10 years! Between the three of us, we took over 350 photos! We had a really good time. =)
Siberian tiger!
Siberian tigers posing for the camera!
Siberian tigers play fighting. The female ran up behind the male and jumped on him. It was really cool! Those tigers can move very quickly!
Here’s Laura!
Here’s Codi in an old Land Rover!
We spotted a peacock on the way back from seeing the wolves. He got very close to us.
This rhino rarely looks at the people visiting him.
This is the kind of face that could keep me out of the forest. Woo!
This too! Zoiks!
Is this a dorky hat or what?! People buy these!
Pretty butterfly photographed by Codi.
Baby elephants were roaming around, blowing water on each other and eating hay.
Bald eagle!
Peregrine falcon!
I really don’t like monkeys (at all!), but I had to take this picture. Too funny - monkey butt maintenance…
Laura and Codi just outside the entrance to the Alaskan Tundra section.
Laura in the trellace outside the butterfly tent.
Laura took this picture of Codi and me.
Another butterfly…
Odd looking flowers in the butterfly tent.
The three of us got butterfly tent stamps!
Very cool tropical flower found near the elephant area.
This is the Oregon Zoo train that goes all through the zoo property and through the surrounding forests. It’s fun riding the train!
Bald eagle flying right over our heads…
Sea lions playing and chasing each other. One would bite the other, then a chase would begin.
