Bud Break & Mount Hood

It was another gorgeous day in the vineyards! The weather was perfect, the soil and vegetation smelled amazing and the new growth on the vines looks like perfection in the making.

Little grape buds have formed – millions of them. These little grain-of-sand sized grapes will soon become delicious grapes for tasty wine!

Mount Hood was glowing white over the Willamette Valley. What a view!

Argyle Winery Is Releasing New Wines

I spent my afternoon at Argyle Winery taking photos. I saw a pre-release of the June issue of Wine Spectator magazine and Argyle is mentioned often (as usual). In fact, two of the owners of Argyle are on the front cover! Wow!

Shopping

Codi and I went to Zeppo for breakfast and then to the Lake O Farmers’ Market. We got a bunch of fresh veggies, including some of the most gorgeous looking and most delicious garlic I’ve ever seen.

We stopped by a couple garage sales (one really nice one and one really bad one). I got this super cool cell phone made by Sharper Image for only 50¢. It’s the “Digital Cellular Personal Communicator”. It looks like it was made in the mid 1980′s. I turned it on and it still works! Cingular service. Go figure!

Here’s the mondo phone along side my Sony Ericsson T610. This morning I was thinking how bulky my T610 was. Not compared to this tank!
