Ready to sell my TV today for cash, I went to Staples and bought one of those pens that detect whether currency is fake or not. I tested a few $1 bills and a $5 – all passed. I tested a plain piece of paper and it failed with black/brown marks. Then, out of curiosity, I tested a TriMet bus ticket. It passed the test!! I was, and still am, very surprised. Why would the paper used for bus tickets pass a counterfeit currency ink test?!

Codi and I had a really nice weekend. We had Saturday breakfast at Zeppo. Of course, it was excellent. We then went to Rumi Simone for massages.
Later that day we went to Benihana. I found $2 in the parking lot. =)
Later that evening, I started brewing a new beer – an apple beer!.jpg)
Today Codi and I went on a nice long drive in the country. Based on a friend’s recommendation, we stopped by Bald Peak – a mountain that towers over most of the vineyards in the Dundee area.
There was a beautiful view of Mount Hood from the opposite side of Bald Peak.
Codi took this picture of the moon.
Codi also took this picture of some neat clouds.
