Codi and I have been amazed at how quickly our winter has been fading into spring. Almost all the trees by our apartment already have buds on them, and the grass is getting greener by the day. It’s warm, too. I’ve already begun wearing shorts and t-shirts. Soon it’ll be time to go to the beach, or swimming in the waterfalls!!

Still free from the grip of Starbucks coffee, I’ve taken to morning tea. I found this tea at Williams Sonoma. It’s one of the best teas in the world. $16 gets you a small tin of loose tea leaves that will render about 15 large cups. Sounds expensive for tea (it is), but it’s worth it.

A gorgeous January day calls for a nice ‘take five’ on the deck.
