I knew there were a few similar physical characteristics, but I did a double-take when I saw these two pictures. Is this a creepy resemblance or what?

That’s long-gone 7th US Pres Andrew Jackson and current and reigning FlipFlopper, John Kerry.

Codi made several dozen chocolate chip cookies and one massive cookie. They were really good, and all of them were gone in about a day! Yum!

Try to guess their names and dates of office. Sometimes it’s surprising to see how little people know about our US Presidents. Even their names are often completely unknown. To see names & dates, mouse over the pictures.

It was an absolutely beautiful Monday morning and I drove out to Argyle Winery again on a hunch that it was probably even nicer in Dundee. Of course, Argyle’s nearest vineyard (Knudsen Vineyards) has one of the best views in the entire valley. I noticed driving into Dundee that half the valley was awash in a sea of fog and I quickly drove up to the highest off-road point my car would go.

The following pics show some of what I saw. The view of Mount Hood was awesome, especially with the clouds & fog in the foreground.
