I spent a good part of the day doing genre research for a screenplay. I had to watch some scary, bloody movies. Among them: Jeepers Creepers 2, Skinned Alive and Psycho.   Skinned Alive was by far, and with no exaggeration, the worst movie I have ever seen. If anyone complains about Bennifer’s “Gigli” being a load of crap, then they should take a half hour to watch Skinned Alive. Not that the movie is only 30 mins long – it’s just that it’s so frikin bad that I guarantee that more than two-thirds of the movie will be speeding by your screen as you fast-forward and fast-forward and fast-forward in hopes of a redeeming scene, plot point, or even half a line of dialog. (Please note that you won’t find any such redeeming scenes or tidbits in the movie.)  Jeepers Creepers 2 was surprisingly fun to watch. Some expected gore, a couple token boobie scenes, but over all a very entertaining thriller. Much less blood than I prepared myself for, but lots of good, heart pounding suspense. Psycho – that’s a no brainer. Excellent story, great imagery. One of the timeless classics, for sure.
